Times Routine
06:45 - 07:50
Arrival and Free play - Parent, child and staff should wear a mask

Reception Area
On arrival parent/child should sanitize at station.
2 Appointed and trained staff members to receive and screen/test arrivals.
(questionaire for parents and child's temperature scanned)
Staff member to spray shoes and accompany child to class and allow the child to wash his/her hands with soap and water

07:50 - 08:00
Toilet routine

Hands will be washed with soap and water and paper towel dried
Sanitizer can also be used before and after toilet routine
Toilet will be cleaned and sanitized after each child

08:00 - 08:20
Breakfast

Children to sit 1.5 meters apart from each other
Sanitize hands before and after breakfast
Show the children the correct way to remove and put on their face masks or visors

08:20 - 08:35
Morning ring, roll call, weather and news

Children will sit 1.5m apart in rows and not opposite each other
Promote handwashing and hygiene practise throughout the day and reminding them not to touch their face, eyes, nose and mouth.
Teach children to cough and sneeze into a tissue or inside of elbow and not onto clothes
Sanitize children's hands after a sneeze or cough. Cough like Batman

Toilet routine

Hands will be washed with soap and water and paper towel dried
Sanitizer can also be used before and after toilet routine
Toilet will be cleaned and sanitized after each child

08:45 - 10:00
Creative art and Educational activities

Each child will be using his/her own labeled container for creative art activities
Each child will be using his/her own labeled container for educational activites
After each play, apparatus will be sanitized or washed

10:00 - 10:10
Toilet routine

Toilet will be cleaned and sanitized after each child

Covid 19 Prevention Time

ABOVE 37.4 DEGREES counts as a fever

  1. Child's hands and feet sanitized
  2. Fever checked - If found that a child has a fever, is coughing or feeling ill, the child must quarantined in a separate, sanitized sick room with someone to take care of the child.
  3. Parents must be informed to come and collect the child
10:25 - 10:55
Morning snack

Maintain physical distancing 1.5metres
Snack is prepared in a clean sanitized kitchen
Snack from home must be in a sealable bag(zip block)

10:55 - 11:15
Free play outside

Children to play in different areas
With teacher walking around, sanitizing children's hands and making sure they practising physical distancing. No sharing during this time.
Allow different groups to go outside at different intervals if you have a large group.
Sanitization needs to be done before the next group may enter the area outside.

11:15 - 11:30

Music/Movement and Story time

Make sure learners are spread out
Cross legged and hands in a basket when sitting down
Encourage participation in discussion and answering questions

11:50 - 12:30
Lunch time

Hands to be sanitized before and after eating
Maintain physical distancing precautions 1.5metres
Food prepared in a sanitized kitchen
Food send from home must be in a sealable bag (zip block)

12:30 - 12:45

Sleeping time

Each mattress will be sanitized before and after nap time
Roll call will be done before and after sleeping time
Each learner's temperature will to be taken before naptime
Learners will be sanitized before and after sleeping time
Each learner to sleep on her/his own bed
Learners will sleep head to toe 1.5metres apart

13:45 - 14:00

Free play/Inside/Outside play

Teachers to walk around and sanitize children's hands and making sure that they
practise physical distancing
No sharing during this time

17:00 - 18:00
Departure time

Parents will be encouraged to fetch their children as early as possible and only if they are able to.
Each child's hands will be sanitized and temperature checked before leaving.
Parents stay in cars and children leave the premises in a proper manner.
Teacher will accompany the child to their parent's car.
